The skill challenge worked acceptably. The use of cards to determine what they found worked wonderfully – you could hear the excitement from the players which was great. This is something I will definitely adopt into my game.
Thanks as always.
I am listening to this podcast right now. I really like the exploratory skill challenge and the use of reward cards.
I too am going to be stealing.. ehem.. borrowing.. this idea for when my PC’s make it to the dead giant city they are about to reach.
The reward cards sound like a great idea when you know what situations the players are going to be in. I might steal that idea. I might also try and come up with some miscellaneous ones for ad-hoc rewarding.
