  • The Weather Report: The conclusion of “The End Is the Beginning,” recorded at our game session on August 9, 2008.
  • The Prop Shop: Brief nods to the manufacturers of various accessories used in our adventure, plus shout-outs and a plug for Radio Free Hommlet.

For more detailed show notes, please follow the “Read more” link below. Thanks for listening to Icosahedrophilia Episode 3: The End Is the Beginning, Part 3! And please look for Episode 4, “The Wellspring, Part 1,” around September 8, 2008.

The Staging Area

This episode’s Staging Area recaps the adventure thus far and briefly sets up the final portion of the adventure.

The Weather Report

In this segment, the PCs’ fight against the deep drones, brine witches, deep ones, and mi-go continues, initially in the harbor at Stormhaven. The fight concludes somewhere else … you want to know, you have to listen!

The Prop Shop

Earlier installments of the Prop Shop have pretty much covered most of the accessories used on the tabletop during this adventure. I did once again mention the tokens produced by Litko Aerosystems (Litko sells them direct; I have bought some products from them, but this batch I actually bought from FRPGames, whose prices are a little below MSRP):

Alert! Tokens
Used to mark variable terrain features

Please see the show notes from episode 1 for photos and links to some of the other props we used.

At the end of the Prop Shop, I plugged the D&D podcast Radio Free Hommlet. My personal connection to RFH is that my cousin David is one of the cast, but I think you’ll enjoy the show even if you don’t have relatives involved in its production. RFH features news and reviews, but is primarily a tips-and-tricks show for both players and DMs.

Again, thanks for listening to episode 3 and reading the show notes. I hope you’ll join us again for episode 4, coming soon to this website and the iTunes store!
