I shouldn’t complain about a sale
The fine folks at Green Ronin have kicked off a very nice sale. But they’ve also made a classic blunder. They’re calling it the “twelve weeks of Christmas” sale, on obvious analogy with the traditional “twelve days of Christmas.” So what’s the blunder? The twelve days of Christmas begin on Christmas day, December 25. They don’t lead up to Christmas day; they follow it.

What’s more, I have a policy of not buying anything from folks who use the word Christmas before December 15th at the very latest.
Bah, humbug. It’s October, people!
I’m actually pleasantly surprised that this wasn’t a complaint about the insensitivity of using the word “Christmas” in our multicultural world.
